January Book Study Offering on the Fable App

We'll read Beyond Welcome: Centering Immigrants in Our Christian Response to Immigration by Karen González together through the Fable App, a platform that lets us discuss as a group. This book is available in our Social Justice Library! This journey invites us to listen deeply to immigrant stories and consider how faith shapes our response to immigration.

Linworthys Luncheon and Program // January 27, 1130a

Join us for our first 2026 Linworthys Luncheon in the LUMC Fellowship Hall. This event is open to adults 55 and older, and we welcome both returning members and newcomers. Enjoy an Italian meal with two pastas, red sauce, salad, rolls, and tiramisu cheesecake for $6.00.
Entertainment will be provided by The Muleskinner Band, a bluegrass group for their strong vocals and engaging style.

February at Linworth Kids: “Miracles in Action!”

This February, Sunday School becomes hands-on! Kids in grades 1–6 will explore the miracles of Jesus and discover how His love still changes lives today. By the end of the month, every small group will help plan and complete a meaningful project that puts faith into action at our final celebration on March 1 from 10-10:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Don’t miss this chance for your child to learn, serve, and grow together!

Join Patty Rose for a 12-week Disciple I Fast Track study of the Old Testament! Using the UMC-endorsed Disciple Fast Track: Old Testament Study Manual, we’ll explore the story of God’s people from Genesis through the prophets and discover how Scripture speaks to our daily lives.
